Samsung Galaxy 4 watch Health monitor for ECB is not supported in the US and many features only work if you have specific Samsung phones. My with bought this for me for Fathers day ( this week) and after 5 aggravating calls to tech support I was advised to buy a Samsung phone. ( I have a Motorola Ace 5g. )

Buy the Venu or any other smart watch if thats what you want. Your wants for a dedicated fitness watch already exist in other products. The Fenix platform is for fitness tracking first, not checking emails or having a flashy touch screen.

I hate your wishlist. An illuminated touchscreen display is what kills battery life. The Fenix Series, much like most of their watches, use an non illuminated screen with physical buttons. When you’re exercising, you can’t stop what you’re doing to rub your sweaty finger on a screen and not work. You have to be able to blindly operate it by touch. The same with a cell connection. More battery drain. It’s a fitness watch which happens to talk with your phone a little. It’s not a smartphone glued to your wrist so you can control your smartlights and reply to emails.

2 weeks of battery life while camping is worth more than 2 days of battery life at home.
